The price in the corporate service of Japan rise to their fastest pace for almost 15 years last May, this was drive by a strong increase in prices of transportation.
This corporate service price index will gauge the prices in the overall levels in company’s who are paying for the transportation, advertising, communications and the services that have been offered by other firms, standing at a 94.2 last May, increased a 0.1% in the revised 94.1 last April, and a higher 1.4% annually.
It already excludes the consumption tax hike 1997, which also rise annually at its fastest pace in the corporate service price. For 10 straight month there was a rise in the index.
An official in BOJ had briefly told the reporters that the 1.4% gain is “very strong” and because of an increase in the maritime shipping price.
Adding to that the official stated that “When the worlds economy keeps on expanding the demands in China’s transport of iron ore and coal is getting tighter” “the weak yen increased the number upwards”
There is also an increase at 6% in the pricings of transportations this year, this is the biggest gain since 1990, March when it increased to 6.1%.
In some place, the rents and lease also decline slowly as the firms begin to charge to offset the cost in the higher long term rates.
Annually, decrease of 1% in the pricings of rents and lease but increase to 1.1% monthly. The pricings in the advertising sectors are weakened as told by the officials because of the slowing demands among the automakers for the commercials in TV.
