Hynix Semiconductor Incorporated is pricing at least 500 million US dollars to the senior unsecured fixed rate of a10 year bond offer at 7.875%.
The proceeds that are going to be redeemed can be used for another 500 million US dollars of senior notes which ends on 2012.
The company, Hynix is a maker of the dynamic random access memory chips, this is put on computers, they are the world’s second to the largest company, and they are also providing NAND flash chips, which is benefiting the techno gadgets we have this days, such as the MP3 players, cell phones and digital cameras.
Amidst the strong institutional support the offering has been sold to almost unexpectedly 12 times. Hynix has already stated that these bonds are due to at least 5 years.
Acting as the book runners are the following: Citigroup, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, and 2 others.
In a report by another news agency, Yonhap, Kim Jong-Kap who is the president of Hynix told that they are aiming for the boost of sales of at least 20% on a yearly basis this year. Hynix has won over the mainboard KOSPI at least 0.17%.
