The Mercer Human Resources Consulting has told that the gap in between the worlds most and least expensive city is narrowing, the changes the previous year’s survey is because of the fluctuations of exchange rate.
Yvonne Traber stated that the increase in the ruble to dollar is a combination with the increased accommodation charge by the cost in expatriates in Moscow. At the same time, London will climb the ranks because of the increasing pound and high property rents.
A European city that is also very expensive is Copenhagen for the 6th place, next to it is Geneva and the 9th is Zurich.
