Terry Green the head of clothing for Tesco has been poached by the Marks and Spencer group to take the helm of their fashion business. Neither a representative from Marks and Spencer or Green was available for comment at this time.
The loss of the very experienced Terry Green will be taken as a huge blow to Tesco. The company makes constant moves in order to be able to keep up with the more higher end shops such as Marks and Spencer.
As the only consultant for Tesco, Terry Green saw over the demise of the Allders department store chain in 2005. Green has also previously been the head of the Debenhams and BHS department store chains.
