The No.1 ranking business state of U.S. is Virginia. The ranking has been formulated on analysis from major media outlets that grabs the most attention of Corporate America.
CNBC, a news channel based on the financial status of markets on the globe, and www.forbes.com, website of business publication of Forbes, came to similar conclusion that Virginia is “the Best State for Business”. Timothy M. Kaine, Governor of Virginia, recognized the business bouquets from them as an honor.
Kaine said to a press conference that he was grateful to CNBC and Forbes.com for honoring Virginia with such rankings that has a sway globally.
CNBC and Forbes.com did ranking of states on 40 competitive measures and 10 different board categories. Measures included business expenses, economy, education and workforce.
Virginia had a score of a whooping 1,327 from 2,021 possible points. Virginia has one of the lowest rates of unemployment in U.S. and that worked for securing a No. 3 in category of economy.
Virginia ranked no.1 in forbes.com for two consecutive years.
